Saman Bank chief removed from his post

altTEHRAN – Central Bank Governor Mahmoud Bahmani ordered Saman Bank managing director to be removed from his post over the financial fraud totaling 28 trillion rials (2.63 billion dollars).

 So far, Mahmoud Reza Khavari, the managing director of Bank Melli, has resigned and the managing director of Bank Saderat has been dismissed. In addition, 22 suspects in the recent financial corruption have been interrogated, and arrest warrants have been issued for all of them.
